Loved the young man 'recruiting' patrons - he was a joy to talk to. However, when we got inside, the service wasn't so great. I had the distinct feeling that tourists aren't as appreciated as they would like you to think. Besides, we aren't really tourists - just a couple looking for a place to eat.

this really was the best food we have had - too bad I felt like we were intruding on local-territory
(souvlaki - grilled chicken on a skewer - truly the best tzitziki I have had) |

we LOVED the food at this taverna, but the service could have been better -
if we go again, we will stay out front where it is more 'acceptable' to appear as a tourist |
