The Ever-Present Church

Sunday is a free day...to rest, to worship, to stroll, to live life. And, that we did! We took today to sleep late, ready slowly, and stroll while so many of the businesses were closed. We made our way up through the National Gardens, past the presidential buildings, and onto the shopping squares. Along the way there are churches - fabulous churches! This religion major cannot help but to admire, observe, ponder, and photograph these beautiful icons of humankind's determination to commune with the supernatural.

there are small iconography shops dotting the neighborhoods - I am drawn to them all!

Very cool! I love the red roof on that one church - the texture is interesting!
