Mid-Week Walk-About

More snaps from our walk-about - always in search of churches,
and anything else interesting that catches my eye...

the service sschedule of a small neighborhood church tucked in to all the political buildings
and more expensive apartments and homes

of course, the gate was locked, but it was fun to snaps some pics

name of this particular church

Chuck is such a good student - he is writing down the Greek to decipher later

the scaffolding cover they use on this reconstruction of an older building is unique -
it is printed it to look like a building!

The majority of cars are small, similar to Lisa's little
Scion IQ - in fact, we have seen several of them here under
the Toyota symbol, as well as a lot of Smart cars.
Funny, they don't look quite so silly here!

at a major intersection - what a great building entrance -
but look on the top...do you see them?

wow! I wonder how many even notice them?
Only in Greece, right?

Very cool! I thought about my car being just right for the streets and traffic there - not that I'd want to drive there.
