About the Author

My name is Hendel D'bu (aka Liz H.), a junior at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington. My area of study is Religion and Classics, which is how I ended up in Athens for a semester! I am also a non-traditional student (which means I am about three decades older than the traditional university student). As always, I present a different perspective to living, loving, and learning. My family consists of my beloved partner and companion (who is traveling with me on this adventure), my three beautiful, albeit grown, children, and my best friend. We make our permanent residence beside the Grand Canal in Ocean Shores, Washington.
